The Leathes Head is a fine country house hotel of the Edwardian period
built of local slate and situated in two and a half acres of grounds.

Set in the heart of Borrowdale 'the most beautiful valley in England' -
the Leathes Head is set back from the road on an elevated site
with magnificent views.

The Leathes Head was built in 1909 and so 2009 represented a very special Anniversary for the house. In 2009 it was Janice & Roy's 10th year and David Jackson, our very talented and celebrated chef's, 20th year here!

To celebrate our next decade, we are introducing several new improvements and initiatives for the benefit of all our guests.
